Actually I found that the Comic Sans font is becoming more popular with Clients certainly up here in the North east but I agree with you it is not the most appealing font. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose

Comic Sans ……. 😀 we have done quite a few signs with this font & no matter how much we try to deter away from it … nope customer has heart set on it and thats that. Its usually the customer who has done their own rough layout design aswell that we find uses this font …… our neighbour two doors designed his layout and asked us to do some graphics in this font for his van ….. so I see it everyday 😮 Did some alternative designs for him ….. but nope … wanted comic sans and that was that ….. but its their choice and their money at the end of the day and yes beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder 😀

i have done a local nursery sign & vans!! the other was a 56 meter sign with built up letters for a kitchen & bathroom fitting company 😮
in red & blue, the guys that own the company actually admitted it was cheezy, but in two years they have now got six vans & a huge new showroom!! 😮 mind boggles (spin)
