I don’t Jason, don’t seem to find the time 🙁 used to enjoy a bit of airbrushing and drawing. Funny enough I found an old portfolio under my bench with some old magic marker illustrations in, they were great things to work with.
If your around my age you’ll remember them.My kids are very artistic so have taken over from me

tis a struggle to find time i agree, luckily for me the mrs doesnt mind too much if i am strapped to a wacom for half the evening!
magic markers, now that takes me back!! i had a huge collection, loved em! i found a shop in Denmark that sold something very similar (my mrs is Danish) they seemed a cross between magic markers & pantone markers, and very good value for money too! may have to fill a suitcase up!! :lol1: -
Looks good Jason, have you guys ever checked out richleedraws.com
Very talented guy! -
Fantastic artwork Jason. Was thinking of getting a Wacom Bamboo to see if I can get on with a tablet. Doubt I’ll be able to do anything like that though.

hi paul
they are a really good little tablet, i bought one each for my boys as they like a bit of a doodle, they are also good for general use too, i dont use a mouse any more, the wacom makes work almost flow quicker!
i would recommend getting one and just getting used to it, the art will flow!!! 🙂 -
I have the bamboo and would love a go at this. Any good tutorials you know of Jason?
Lovely piece of work btw! -

Lovely piece of work btw!not off the top of my head, but i will have a look about for you.
i can recommend a bit of software called sketchbook pro, it is very intuitive and natural, a good start to get the sketching under way, as photoshop is good for finishing etc, but quite difficult to set up just to sketch and practicej

I had no idea you were so creative.

Do you remember the LetraJet, you could use that with your Pantones.
-
letrajets! Now we’re talking! I never had one, and was always jealous of anyone who did.
And the bible that was the letraset catalogue, i still have one from 1989! -
Yep, I could never afford a LetraJet, went for Edding Markers as you could refill those with cellulose thinners in your bedroom.
I’d never heard of H&S then.
