How are you producing the boards?
    printing on vinyl and laminated?
    printing onto vinyl only?
    printing direct to board?
what is the board? i.e. foamex, composite, acrylic…

    what is your price?

Yeh, that’s a bit steep…positively vertical from what your client probably expects!

It may be what the job would retail at for a ‘regular / commercial / private’ customer – but the building industry is used to paying next to nothing for these ‘disposable’ items…think closer to £25-30 a pop (£50-60 a pair).

I know one company that does 1200×1200 on 5mm PVC for £50….in cut vinyl…just to get the work…that’s a VERY low profit margin.

Indecently – why did it take 1.5hrs for artwork? Is the design very complex?

For future work – and to entice the client. (For example) Say artwork for this design is a one off fee of £25 – then £25 per board after that. You’ll still make your money on THIS order – but be much more inviting for future work…and you can knock them out for a couple of pounds each… easy money.
