3 UKSG Members short listed for the Sign Industry Awards
The following was going to be posted by Rob on Tuesday, but after developments that morning he decided not to. If you read on you may understand why…
As a result, I have decided to proceed and post this anyway… 😉Over the past week or so a topic based on the UK Sign industry Awards was started by one of our UKSG members within the hidden UKSG discussion section of this site. As the discussion about “who is considering attending the awards evening” progressed, we discovered by Monday 18th August, that 2 of our own UKSG members have been short listed as potential winners of their categories. Then, on Tuesday morning we received further notice of a 3rd member to be short listed…
The members along with the categories they have been short listed in are as follows:
Ian Johnston – Retail Signage of the Year Award and Small Sign Maker of the Year Award .
Cheryl Smith – Small Sign Maker of the Year Award.
Robert Lambie – Vehicle Graphics of the Year Award.
As said previously, this announcement was made in private but I am sure you will agree it should be made public to all of UKSB, So that members, visitors as well as suppliers can show a bit of support for all three of them in the run up to the awards?
The winners will be announced at the UK Sign Industry Awards evening on the 3rd of September 2008, at the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry in conjunction with “The Sign Show”
