spandex supply 3m floorminders, comes in 2 parts, Vinyl and top coat, because of liability insurance for floor surfaces. price is high, but includes insurance cover should someone slip and hurt themselves. they will not supply unless you are a registered fitter, not hard to get registered, just agree to their terms on fitting.

Speak to Colin at Europoint Display in Glasgow.

They supplied me with a product called “floortalkers” a few years back. This is a two part system consisting of a white vinyl you can print on (or apply vinyl graphics to) and a matt finish clear overlaminate to protect the design.

I used this to provide a one off job consisting of floor graphics some time ago.

Since then I’ve had a test piece on the floor of my unit which has survived for a number of years now, is highly durable and has resisted the effects of abrasion from many vehicles and general wear and tear very well.

Be careful of floor graphics and the overlam you use , there are laibility issue in terms of how slip resistant it is etc. Guys here were using ordinary overlams and one business faced a lawsuit when a customer hurt themselves on it.
We use a warranted overlam by GMP that has all sorts of certifications. Floor graphics are generally short term , so use a vinyl that can easily be removed.
You have to overcut your lam , ie the edge of the lam must cover the edge of the vinyl and extend to the floor to seal the graphic otherwise it might either delam at the edge or start lifting there and cause a further hazard.
The way to do this with machines that print and cut is to make 2 files , the graphic print/cut file and the oversize cut file.
Print usiing crop marks , but enable the cutter , so you have a print and cut + crop marks. Weed the print but LEAVE the cropmarks , IE cut around them. Lam with your floor overlam and then load the sheet back in , read the crop marks and then use your “oversize” cut file.
