Multi-Fix vinyl looking for supplier in UK
Hi all i have been asked to do some repair decals on a motor home. The customer got part of the kit in from Italy. He now wants more work doing and due to covid etc it has taken 6 months + to get this bit f kit in. That said he ordered the wrong parts so i can use some for part of the job but need a bit more for the doors. The only clue i have is on the backing (see attached) I googled and got a Belgium company but cant get on any web site . Its a metallic blue which i cant match exactly to anything in UK. Any help locating a company i can buy this material from would be appreciated, many thanks jean

Multi-Fix, now I have not seen that vinyl in many years now.
Who sells it now? I haven’t a clue!
For some reason, I want to say Spandex used to sell this, but I’m wondering if I am mixing one of their older brands with this. Im not sure! -
If I remember correctly MACTAC bought multifix in 2003 and eventually closed production and moved it into Mactac then eventually rebranded everything to Mactac.

Avery acquired JAC a few years ago. I thought that vinyl was crap and think many others posted the same views here on UKSB, made me wonder what the attraction was for Avery.
They just did the same with Mactac did they not? or am I getting them mixed up with someone else?Oracal acquired KPMF and Reflexite.

Avery have also bought Mactac although they have two faces to market, hence Mactac now have a cast vinyl both digital and colour change, Avery have the casting lines

Hi both, so it looks to me that this must be a very old kit that’s been sitting around on a shelf in Italy for a number of years. I think ill let my customer know that it looks likely the material no longer exists and suggest a close second or a new colour completely, many thanks and have a good weekend all
