Hi everyone. What’s your thoughts on long-term durability of contravision? Laminated obviously. I have a huge shop coming up and this is what they are wanting. I’m just not sure how it holds up against standard vinyl in say 8+years time. I would price in silicone around each window for added durability. My other option is optical clear printed vinyl but their logo has white in it so wouldn’t really work out.

    Any experience appreciated

Ive done contravision on vehicles that are still there 8+ years later, looking fine. I dont see why a shop window would not last just as long. There are different grades of contravision of course, just like there are different grades of vinyl. Use the good stuff with the good laminate, you should be okay.

If the manufacturers won’t give a longer life, why should you?
Also, anyone quoting against you cant promise longer if manufacturers can’t?

That’s unless there is a cast version available that might be longer?
