Trimfast A-Frame Assembly help with Toolholder stop?
I have it all assembled EXCEPT for the tool holder stop…
does anyone know how and where this is attached, please?I have attached the manual PDF below.
Apart from showing the part in question image 15 in the manual, it gives no clue other than "Fit it"

Where the tool slides up and down it drops in to that groove. It’s just to stop the tool going too far down

Thank you for replying but I cannot see how it fits in. Without a stop I can see that the blades on the tool will hit the horizontal bar. There is a hole at the bottom of the vertical bar but the bolt on the toolstop is too large to fit through it. I cannot for the life of me work out how to attach it.
The width matches the slide but I cannot see any to fix it in place.

I don’t think it does attach, from memory it just sits in the slot at the bottom of the track.
I’m sorry I’m not hugely helpful, it was probably about 6 years ago when I put one together!

Worked it out!…so posting here what I finally realised in case anyone else has the same confusion.
Picture 15 was what confused me, it shows the toolstop assembled…I tried all kinds of tetris style approaches to get this into where I thought it had to go before realising that you don’t assemble it first!Take the long block, on its own, and drop it into the slot with the bolt holes at the bottom.
Then attach the short block to it with the two short bolts.
Finally put in the long bolt, using the middle nut to adjust the height so it stops the tool’s blades hitting the bottom of the guide slot. -
