  • scooter stickers printing onto clear.

Im looking at a job to supply stickers for kids kick scooters. Stickers are for the uprights etc, small stuff but 100s of kits.

The colours needed are 1 colour light blue and frame colour is black. Also some black stripes onto blue frames.

Initially assumed it would be vinyl but an arse to strip and tricky for the client to fit. Im assuming what is actually needed is to print onto clear with a cut box around. Peel off, slap on. I dont have a white ink so am i right in thinking no matter how many passes you do it wont work out? especially on black

    Yup – wont work.

Best bet is to print onto white vinyl as normal (to get the blue to work) but print a black background at the same time.

Phill will correct me if I’m wrong Martyn but I think He meant just a bubble cut extra black outline a couple of mil away from the blue outline. I reckon that would be perfect for a job like that

Yes i get what you mean kevin however these are so small you have 3 logos same colour in a line say 80mm by 20mm. The space inbetween them would be black so its 1 sticker. It might be fine tho
