Hi all I’ve had my Roland years and totally trouble free and very very accurate, from new its always been under a Roland service contract and when anything needed sorting it was perfect service, so well done Roland.
Had a call yesterday about an upgrade which I guess I will do but all the time mine is working fine I’m very happy, until I’m told Roland will no longer be keeping or getting parts for this machine and I will get a letter to this affect sometime soon !!! Has anyone else had this, are there many SP300V and SP540V OUT THERE I know mine must be ten years old but a I say works spot on and I don’t really want to get rid of it ???
    Thanks Rich

I have one of each & could not be critical of them whatsoever. I then bought a pro 3 followed by a pro 4. It was like a turbo boost to my business to be honest, absolutely blistering speed. I still have the versacams but nowadays they only really get used for smaller one off jobs or garment vinyl. It would be definitely worth your while looking at an upgrade

Thanks Kevin we have been told that, to be fair speed for us is not a major factor, saying that when I’m trying to run one before I go home I’m thinking OMG Hurry up lol

Yeah still doing that now to be honest. I would think spares would be available for a good while yet but might be worth stocking up on a few bits just in case, couple of heads maybe & some of the cheaper bits but also might be sensible to buy a second user pro 4 for a bit more cost. Run them side by side. It will literally blow you away & I’d bet the versacam would be on Ebay within days
