Haven’t been on for ages so thought I would let you know my latest news. Semi retired a year ago last February. Sold the premises that I had bought and gave most of the sign making equipment to my son Robert. I have kept the engraving machine and have that fitted in my man cave (shed). Have bought a laser engraver and that takes up the dining room. I now make clocks with motorhome and caravan images engraved in the centre, acrylic mirrors, comical wooden hearts and signs, even dog bandannas and sell all these at motorhome and caravan shows. This means working 9 weekends a year and travelling all over the UK.

    Good on you Dave,

Sounds like a fun way to pass the time and make a few quid.

Always loved your sense of humour..we used to have some great laughs on here.

Wishing you all the best and a long happy and healthy semi retirement…

Good on you Dave, and great to see you’re still keeping your hand in things mate.
Personally, I think retirements great, but I believe you have to keep yourself active and keep the mind busy. Clearly, you are, great stuff! and hope to see more of you on the board’s mate.
