Hi everyone, can i ask do you have CSR cards yet? we looked into it a while ago as a company withheld payment until they had the card number and got told we didnt need them as we weren’t construction etc ( then got paid)

but i’ve had a job in last week i didn’t get because the main contractor said everyone needs it, as it was the first time asked in a long time im wondering is it now coming in that we need these

    John

Your getting mixed up with CSR and CIS

signmakers are mainly exempt from CIS which is basically a tax scheme for builders etc

    https://www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manual … /cisr14300

CSR in Northern Ireland is a safety scheme like ‘safe pass’ in Ireland ,
It’s required to get onto most building sites that are main contractor controlled.
Different levels for joiners etc ( gold card etc)
But you’ll just get a skilled works card .
Basically you do a very simple 1 day health and safety course every 4 years.
