Took delivery of the new printer last week, the 300 version. Arrived on a huge pallet, started to unwrap to put together. Have now stopped as I didn’t realise how heavy this was? Anyone successfully managed to lift one of these printers with just two people? May have to get some help in next week if it is going to be to heavy. We do have one of those shoulder dollys.

    Thanks

Get help in my opinion. I attempted lifting my Mutoh 1624 (160kg) with another friend off the truck. We all most dropped it. Man with a van stopped and helped us. 4 people is safer, especially when you screw printer to stand.

Well, just a bit of an update. Having measured and considered the size and weight of this machine I now have to return it (or sell if I am unable to return) and purchase a VS300i. Unfortunately the TruVis is impractible for me at the moment :(.

I don’t know much about Roland printers, but if size is an issue, I will keep the big one and save the palaver of returning.
