    Morning all

How would you prepare and fit the graphics for this design?

It will be printed as I can’t match the colours using coloured vinyl and I intend on using Arlon SLX.

Just wondering whether you would print it all together, contour cut it and then apply app tape and fit.
    Or
Would you print it it all app taping just the text then apply that before fitting the blue and black bits separately?

Just trying to work out the best and quickest way of doing it. I’ve done a few larger vans of the same design but I always think there is a quicker and more productive way of fitting and preparing the vinyl.

So far, I’ve been applying the logos/text, applying the blue then applying the black.

Swoooosh on first then text as seperate layer so that you can adjust the position independently

As Martin says, swoosh then the text.

I sometimes print drops, depending on design, so the door is one piece, the back separate, it reduces material.

SLX may be overkill, as there’s no deep recesses, SLX is a doddle to fit, but I don’t think you’d struggle using something like MD5A.

Perhaps use SLX for the boot lid, with the recess where the plate is.

No go with the SLX pain in the bottom this bit

If that car has as flat panels as the VW sharan – I will print and cut this with MD5 air release.

I don’t see a reason why Arlon SLX is a "no go". If the budget allows, this job will go very smooth with Arlon SLX.

(no cut line between the blue, white and black) All items on 1 printed / cut piece.

I think Robert was saying no to MD5 and stick with SLX due the bit in the photo, that I’ve no clue where it is on the car 😆

Remember to give the SLX time for the adhesive to bond to the vehicle properly.

Sorry it is a go with the SLX. The photo is the panel where the window should be above the rear quarters. I’m presuming it’s a Corsa Van

Yeah, that bit looks a bugger and I doubt MD5a will stay put in there, I think even MDX would struggle.

I’ll start with the swoosh then like you say.

    Thanks everyone.

If you print it leave a cm of white all round.
It wont be seen, and it wont curl at the edges.
