Just wondered what’s the most popular for trimming prints such as pull up banners? We are getting a bit annoyed trimming 25 of these at once using knife and rulers and considering keencut Evolution E2 to speed up the process – any opinions much appreciated.

    I use the keencut E2.
    Absolutely brilliant.
    Perfect for banner work.

We have an Evo E2 as well. No complaints here, so I would recommend one.

    Same here, Evo E2.

We went for the 2.8m so we can cut 8x4ft boards, roller banner graphics all in one hit.

How would the e2 cope with scoring dibond so it could be snapped?

I use mine to score dibond.
It’s surprising how little you need to score it.
A sharp snap and it’s done.
    No problems [emoji106]

Thanks all – sound like we have to go for it – where did you buy yours? Company based in Nottingham offers 2.1m unit at £865 – is that in the ballpark?

    Mine is a 2.6mtr too.
Handy size for trimming 2mtrs rollers.
    Sign geer for mine.
I had no problem with them.

Its the evo e2 for me to at 2600mm, eats the banners and will score dibond for snapping easily, with a few cuts , will even go through the cheaper hoarding boards with a new blade its ready to go again. Best purchase I ever made outside of printers.

We score dibond too, then use the cutter to clamp it down and snap it on the edge.

A decent, flat workbench is a must for it to work to it’s best.

As said best thing we’ve bought that isn’t a printer… my ex went ape when she found out how much I spent on it… strangely the cutter has lasted longer than she did 😆

We got ours from Spandex, who were quite a bit cheaper than everyone else for the 2.6m one, with Evo bench.

Is the E2 stable enough to use on the bench without fixing it permanently.? Or is this a must

We have the Evo bench with ours, so it can’t be easily removed. I think you can get standalone ones, for use without the bench.

the table top version comes with fixing machanisms which you attach to the bench, then it locks in over the top i believe. Just curious how well it works being loose on the table top, how sturdy it is
