    Afternoon everyone.

I’m getting media cockling in my printer, the media isn’t touching the printhead but it is causing darker horizontal lines.

I have turned down the print heat to 30º and the dryer to 33º and that didn’t help. I then turned off the Print heater and left the dryer at 33º and again nothing other than pooling where the ink isn’t drying.

My unit is about 12-15º and it goes as low as 9.5º.

    Any suggestions?

Also, I have the external dryer. I have this set at 47º and set to come on when the dryer gets to 23º as started in the instructions (10º lower than the dryer temp) but the dryer won’t heat up, does anyone have one of these and can help me? (I think it comes with the printer if you have white ink)

Try and keep the media warmer over night. It’s the sudden cold to hot that causes it.
