  • Printed Etch; Should I Laminate?

Posted by Chris Moore on 28 November 2018 at 11:21

Hi guys we are doing a big job for a customer, which involves producing printed graphics on to etch for internal doors and windows. I have printed everything already using Metamark Frost but now I am wondering if i should laminated these? The graphics are reverse printed to be installed on the inside of meeting rooms/offices etc, should I laminate the prints or will they be ok without?

    Can anyone advise please?

    Thanks!

    Hi Chris,
for vibrancy and longivity I prefer to reverse print on clear and then back up in frost.

I second that method, much better results than printing onto frosting, the frost is the laminate
