  • Stand off fixings but only the front part, help sourcing?

Posted by Iain George on 20 August 2018 at 14:53

    Hi
Sorry about the title but am really not sure of their name hence not being able to find them online.
I am fitting an acrylic panel flat to the wall but need to have some decent covers for the screws. I have seen these in the past and used them but do not know what they are called.
They are a brass cup with a threaded part on the outside that then a ,whatever finish you want, cover is screwed on. They then look like a stand off locator but without the rear part.

    I hope that makes sense.

If you are looking for stand-off metal fixings then call ispi-trade.

What i "think" you are after is these "stainless steel" screw caps that can be cheaply bought from Amazon.

I have also attached some from screwfix and elsewhere… but these look like they are for internal use, going by the price.
