  • Contravision with a very dark tinted rear widscreen

    Hi
I have a client who wished to have contravison on the rear windscreen but the car has a really dark tint to it. Should i be concerned that the dark side of the contra along with the very dark rear window make it a pointless task. I know that contra is made dark on the rear to help see out but it does make the view darker than having nothing, so with a tint already I am worried it will just be black.

Cut off a small piece and stick it to his window temporarily to try it out
    (It should be fine.)

Adding the controvision will do the same as it would normally and that is block out a certain percentage of view. but wont make the glasses transparency change.
if the tint is of legal darkness, it will still be of legal darkness.
in my opinion the view will be clear enough, but may appear darker than it would with zero tint, which is the same in any car without controvision.
