  • Clear pocket for a banner – what material

    Hi Guys

    A church wants a printed baner with clear pockets to allow the date etc to be changed every month.

    What material is required for the clear pocket??

    can you not print onto low tack matt vinyl if only a month?

    failing that acetate pocket should work and get them on the snap frame poster A Board somewhere like Signwaves will sell them

    Use to get clear pockets welded on to banners by local Sail Maker/ Curtain Side maker. Don’t know what area your in but as said most manufacturers that do Lorry Curtain Sides Boat Canopies etc can weld pvc

    Sorry my husband should have said we can sew the pocket on, just need a name/supplier of the clear material

    I did this once but the client then put a laminated date in them which caught the edges of the pockets it rained filled up the pockets and they fell off.

    We use a clear supple PVC that’s used for tent windows, etc and tape it on with clear banner tape. You can get it from Allplas
