  Roland Versacamm Printing Random Black lines

  We have a Roland VP540, been printing great until bizarre black lines have started appearing on prints, almost creating a drop shadow at times but still ruining my prints! I have uploaded a photo. Please any help much appreciated as close to losing the plot. Have swapped over cables from the heads and it made no difference.

  Hi, it might be a main board fault. We have a reconditioned main board. Where’s the printer located?

  Check that the encoder isn’t coated in dust never seen lines that bad but worth a check
