    Good afternoon All

This is my 1st time on this forum as I am fairly new to sign making as bought my sign business about 3 years ago and have been learning as i go (with many mistakes).

However i have a question about what insurance companies you guys use as been quoted £600 for the year and think its rather high. What should i be looking to insure?

I do mainly flat signs on for businesses and vehicles, i do the installs myself with access equipment no higher than 7m.

    Many thanks

    Newbie (Phill)

We use AXA. However we are more than that a year. Seems right to me. Better to be covered properly in my view. If the worst happens.

Think I pay about a grand for combined PL and equipment etc etc. Axa I think.
Then about £700 for motor trade policy.

    Speak to an independent broker.

+1 for sign elite but ensure you go through exactly what you need as their sign fitter / maker package includes almost everything, was starting to feel I was over paying and went over what I was covered for and what I really needed and cut mine down to just under £600 with them but I dont fit at height and never have customers vehicle on site so its mostly building and contents along with public liability which I would not recommend anyone going with out.
