GERBER FASTRACK 1300 PLOTTER DRAM PROBLEM?
Hi Everyone
This is my first post so im saying hello and hope everyone is coping with the bad weather!We have 2 Gerber Fastracks 1300 Yes I know they are old! one is infact 15 years old and still going strong.
The other one which is newer looks in mint to be honest but we have a problem its showing a fault DRAM FAILED I/O TEST.To be honest we did buy it with the fault from ebay although the seller did not specify the fault and sold it for spares and repairs. We bought it for spares for our working one but also I was hoping to get it going. But after looking into it and also contacting GERBER themselves I must say im alittle frustrated at the lack of information on what this fault is and if it can
be repaired.We are based in southampton, does anyone know an engineer localish (that knows about these plotters)
I know they are getting on abit to say the least but in my humble opinion they are one of the best ever built but is this fault
unrecoverable.Any feedback would be welcome
