I am thinking of starting my own printing arm, due to not being able to get the service level i require, i have dabbled in this before with a used soljet printer and a couple of designjet’s, but this time round i am thinking of doing it properly. I already have premises as this would be part of an already established exhibition business.

i have been quite impressed with the mimaki stuff i have seen, and I am considering a whole mimaki fleet, what are peoples thoughts on starting with

    Flat bed UV – JFX200-2531
    Large Roll – UJV55-320
    Print and Cut – UCJV-300 160
    Vinyl Cutter – CG-130 FXII
A roll to roll laminator – haven’t looked into these yet ?
and either a Kongsberg or Zund powered knife.

and my other question is what to people do to control humidity in their print spaces ? or do people generally ignore that as a requirement and just try and keep a stable temperature ?

if i go with this i will also need to find some suitable people to operate this print machinery.

    paul…
