Pricing help – 14m x 3m banner to building
Having looked at a few of the pricing topics in this forum, I can see that even though I’m covering my costs and making profit, my invoicing is woefully low compared to others I have seen.
I’m actually comfortable enough to turn work away, if people don’t want to pay the prices I charge, but I still don’t want to lose business.
My work is equal to (and in a lot of cases) a much higher standard than my local, longer established and larger competitors, who are charging much higher prices and still getting continuous work. So, I wanted to pass the details of a quote I have been asked for and see how far out I am compared to what I would have quoted. As I don’t like being laughed at, I won’t say how much I would charge :blushing:
Customer wants me to design a large banner for them. I have already have the logos, fonts, Pantone colours, so just the basic design.
They then want me to take down and replace an existing 14m wide x 3m tall banner on the side of one of their buildings.
There is limited space to work in (approx 2.5m from wall to fence) all the way down the building.
The banner is currently fixed directly to the side of the building and not in any form of framework (so advice on tensioning/levelling would also be appreciated).I would be outsourcing the banner.
Any other job details required, please ask.
Thank you in advance.
