    I have a Roland sc545ex running Versaworks and was wondering if I could cut sticker out complete

    What I mean is once it has printed onto to media and done the contour cut is there a way to get it to cut around the backing paper to make the sticker look nice and neat instead of cutting it by hand

    Yes the method your talking about is a perforated cut. i believe its down to your cutting software whether or not it allows you to use this option as well as your cutter.

    You will have a contour cut spot colour for your contour cutting in versaworks, you would of set this up in your cutting/design program like illustrator, basically you have to do the same for perf cut, you have to create a spot colour (any spot colour but not the one you use for contour) then you save it as PerfCut, then when you save it in a peice of artwork and bring it into versaworks it will recognise it and the perf cut will then show up in versaworks, thats basically it.

    tutorial below

    $this->BBvideo_pass(‘$8’, ‘$4’, ‘$7’)

    hope this helps.
