    £35,000 – £50,000 a year – Permanent
    Specialized Signs have a fantastic position opening for an Operations Manager working for a progressive, successful signage business. Having experienced significant growth over the last 8 years, the business is now looking to appoint a high calibre Operations Manager whose strategic thinking and operational management skills will help drive performance to the next level. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Construction or Signage Industry at management level. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation. You will deliver first class standards and customer experience. You will manage operational performance, set budgets and manage available resources so stated levels of performance are achieved.

    Some of your duties will include: –

    Ensuring financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments
    Reviewing working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative
    Making sure safety regulations are followed
    Keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training
    Manage and maintain operations calendar and organizing the crew.
    Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues
    Working with department heads and senior management to get the best performance from staff
    Driving the business to increase profits
    Working with legal departments on any matters that occur
    Reviewing and approving equipment needs and procurement of large plant & machinery
    Dealing with the day to day running & scheduling of a fast paced business
    Working with suppliers
    Implement Processes & Procedures and maintain/upgrade as needed
    Carry out occasional site visits
    Managing H&S files and documents & making sure regulations are followed
    Key Skills and Competencies: –

    Proven ability to lead, motivate and build successful teams
    Understand all legal, regulatory, information security and compliance requirements
    Proven influencer & negotiator
    Team leading & people development skills.
    A pragmatic approach to getting the required results.
    Experience in the sign or print trade beneficial but not essential
    Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with suppliers and customers
    Knowledge of ISO9001 or similar schemes
    This role is for immediate start and you must be able to begin ASAP.
