  Sign Designer Needed in Harlow

  Due to continued growth we are looking for a full-time Sign Designer to join the team in our busy production centre based in Harlow.

  Successful candidates will be responsible for designing bespoke signage required by our customers.This is a position for someone who enjoys working at an upbeat pace and is self-motivated. The successful applicant will be able to liaise confidently with our extensive customer base as well as colleagues in our sales, design and production teams.

  Our sign designers produce designs for all kinds of signs, graphics and displays which range in size – from single health and safety sign or advertising banner through to vehicle graphics, shop fascia and complete site re-brands.

  You will be required to:

  Discuss requirements with the client
  Present proposals and details of costs
  Define and agree with client the most suitable type of sign for the project
  Create designs to produce maximum impact using specialist computer design packages to produce visuals to show the client
  Produce artwork ready for sign production
  Competencies:

  Creativity and imagination
  Experience with computer design packages
  Excellent communication skills
  Drawing and design ability
  Accuracy and attention to detail
  Good computer skills

  Normal colour vision and good spacial awareness; The ability to manage time well, meet deadlines and work within a budget. An understanding of the methods of construction and types of signage would be an advantage.
