  Clear cutting mats for application table

  Hi

  Can anybody recommend a supplier for the large clear cutting mats for application tables (with lights) like a rolls roller etc.

  For many years I used 1220 X 2440mm Polyproylene sheet from Amari, 2mm thick if I remember correctly. I could get it to last several months using both sides, it’s an off white opal, not clear, but it does allow a fair bit of light through and it isn’t expensive. See if you can get a sample?

  Hi Steve

  I know the stuff, used to use it before on normal tables as a cutting mat but doesn’t allow enough light through for the light table and also don’t think it comes in the size needed as needs to be a single piece for a 4.8m long table.

  Solar Sign Supplies, or whatever they’ve rebranded too I cannot remember.

  We have on our workbench, and its great, except vinyl & parcel tape stick to it really well, bit of pain if you weed on the same table.
