8D gloss carbon wrap material?
Hi, i have work to do on a BMW 5 series and customer wants 8D gloss carbon. Does anyone know where i can get this wrap material and not the nonsense from Ebay or Amazon. Thanks.

It almost certainly is nonsense from ebay. They’ve gone from 4D to 5D to 8D!?

I found the supplier of the 8d stuff on eBay, I bought some and have to say it does actually look really smart, as real looking as you’ll get.
He quoted me £250 for a full roll I believe -
I’m sure it looks good but how well will it last? I’ve seen some of those vinyls cracking and peeling badly when done on vehicle exteriors.

He quoted me £250 for a full roll I believeHow much is on a roll and what width? A roll of 1370 x 35m would set me back around £850 + vat for branded carbon wrap – I’d guess that’s not the highest I could be paying either!
Give it a go but, do not offer any guarantees on it, the customer specified the material so the risk on it’s suitability should be on them.
