Can anyone help ? Beveled logo
Posted by John Thomson on 19 August 2016 at 13:16Hi,
I hope someone can help out.
A customer has asked me for a sign using something close to his original logo.
The logo as you can see is beveled……I have tried following Illustrator tutorials on youtube but can’t get close. Can anyone help replicate ( does not have to be exact) this?
I only need the HYPERTECH sectionMany thanks
john

If it were me, I’d send it to Unique Art Services, who’d vectorise the entire logo in a few hours, for about £10.
We don’t bother redrawing logo’s now, just ship it over to them and they send back .ai, .eps and jpg files usually of the logo.
I’ve had a conversation with the owner this morning, so well worth mention the Signboard to them.

I looked at beveled fonts but the logo has black/grey with highlights from a simulated light source which will be noticable on an 8×4 sign.
I have sent it to Unique for a quote………..late on a Friday was not the best time to be sending it though.

Hi John. Do you have the Alien Skin plug in for Photoshop? Might manage it in there.

That’s a great job, looks almost identical to the original.
Cheap as chips too
Will keep them in mind for future work :claps:
