Hi all i do a lot of repairs to FedEx cabs and have been using up a scrap of grey vinyl which has been hanging around for years. I only do a small number on the cab with it and I’ve got enough still for a dozen more jobs. The issue i have is a cab with different decals has come in and i need to get more in to do the job. Ive gone though all of my swatches and nothing matches. So two questions really
1 what grey do you use if repairing a Fed Ex cab
2 Can anyone identify the make of this vinyl from the backing paper.
    many thanks for reading jean

Been years since I have done these…
I am sure you will be aware that FEDEX vehicle kits are supplied with spares for patching etc which from memory the kits were made by SSDM, which is now Aura Graphics http://www.auragraphics.com
The kits were always pretty well put together in a helpful manner for the installer, so i would imagine if you called aura and explained you install their kits, they will tell you the brand and series of the vinyl in the off chance you need some?

as i say this was years ago we did the FEDEX work so may well be a different graphics kit supplier these days.

thanks Robert, i always cut the FEDEX logos and have never had a kit supplied so can’t look at that for clues for the manufacturer of the vinyl. Typically just used up the very last inch of vinyl, so completely out now. I know i have another one next week to do so need to find a match asap.
