Just been to quote for a job this morning. basically its a metal shed they want branding internally . It will be up for 3 years. Due to the amount of bolts and screws sticking through from the other side I have been thinking about either cladding the bottom half in wood and having a banner running around the top 700mm and leaving a void behind the decorations. My question is what type of fixing system should I use? I was thinking along the lines of a banner track or a similar system. My customer mention floor to ceiling banner but it will be used a bar area & personally I think the banners will be tatty in no time with people leaning against them putting their feet up etc.
    Any suggestions?

I don’t think the banner will be a 3 years solution. As you said, people will lean against it, bash it with objects etc.

One option would be to apply composite panels to get a nice flat and hard surface. Then apply laminated vinyl.
Of course, in 3 years time the vinyl can get scratched, ripped off, the composite pannels can get dent etc. at low level but that will not be your problem.
Same as in any office, the constructor will give you the office in a mint condition, if you put your dirty feet on the wall you cannot blame the constructor.

Btw, what that shet will be used for?

It’s going to be a bar. That’s why I thought about cladding the bottom with feather edge board to add to the effect

suspend the whole banner on tension cable.
Fix a top and bottom length of cable running the length of the building.
then use tie wraps to hold the banner on the cable.
