I’m having problems printing on banner material using a Mimaki JV33. If I have the head set to low to prints perfect but I get head strikes. If I try to raise the head the text becomes blurred and it seems to be out of register left to right. Any ideas Please

What temps are you using? We find it better using 35 35 55 the material stays flatter.

I’m using 35 35 50. Do you have you head at low or high?

Our heads are in the low position but we are using Roland XR640’s though we have the issue of heads strikes if we use higher temps I would try lowering the temps to 30 30 55 and see if that helps

Hi Kev tried 3 different types of banner material now doesn’t seem to matter if it’s quality or cheap stuff

Have you done a bidirectional set up for the profile you are using with the head in high position on the banner material and have you tried slowing the head scan speed down
