Hi, I am looking for a cut able non slip vinyl, eg something which could be put onto shower cubicle floors.

Anyone any ideas if there is a UK supplier for this type of material?

    Thanks

    Steff

    Hi Steff

I’ve been looking for an anti slip external vinyl and came across a vinyl used for swimming pools on dorotape.

Can’t remember what it was called but it should be easy to find might work for you.

    Steff
I was once contacted by a bus company to cut logos out of their non slip floor surface material.
They gave me a sample which I put on the router to try…the minute I started the cut, bright orange sparks fanned out.
I stopped the move and looked at the bit – the new 6mm bit was ground down to half its diameter!
The non-slippiness was made by embedding carborundum powder in the plastic, and I was effectively trying to cut sandpaper!
I wore the loss of the cutting bit and sent them on to a waterjet cutting place instead!

Perhaps a textured vinyl would work. e.g carbon fibre effect?

are most shower bases not uneven to prevent slipping already? this being the case laying vinyl may not be easy.
