  What is the best adhesive for Foamex? Advice please?

  Hi
  could anybody advise on the best adhesive to stick foamex onto foamex ive been told Locktite Gel ? only Locktite gel i can find online is Locktite super glue gel ?

  PVC plumbing glue or acetone.

  I’ve always used mitre fix nice quick and easy, (basically super glue with activator) window fitters use it all the time for trims

  iv’e managed to find a PVC glue which ive tried on a couple of bits of foamex and it looks like its worked great,i suppose that’s the trouble of working here in Spain its finding the equivalent to whats in the UK

  I successfully used Super Glue from pound shop.
  You could buy bigger bottles of Super Glue from hardware shops.

  Hi Paul,

  I would recommend using a product call ‘Flo-plast’ it’s design for bonding PVC products such as Foamex, Plastic etc and works a treat. You can buy it from ScrewFix. So not sure if Spain have a similar chair of stores where you could enquire into getting this product? Google?
