    Hi All

Anybody been in to an estate agents office would have noticed a wall covered in a local map of the area (well that’s how it is around here anyway 😉 :lol1: ) Well I need to produce a large map print and wondered if anybody can recommend somewhere to purchase them from.

It’s to do a large wall so needs to be hi-res and as accurate / up to date as possible so if anybody knows a company that supplied this could they let me know.

    Thanks

    Warren

A to Z supply the data. It depends on how much area of the map you need to buy.

We quoted a job for a client and was nearly £300 for the data.

How strange… I was just coming on here to post the EXACT same thing!!!!

Rang ordnance survey and it’s pretty complex. You can get a map for free from them, but it’s all in raw data format, so you have to use mapping programs to make it in to a printable format which obviously cost money (and usually subscriptions!)

Will try that blog post method, but even that seems pretty long winded.

Who’d have thought it would be so hard to just get hold of map image?!
