  • Fixing dibond signs to scaffold poles – advice please?

Posted by Greg McCarthy on 29 October 2015 at 15:14

    Hi all,

We need to source a bracket/ fixing to properly secure dibond signs to scaffold type poles around a football pitch.

How do we go about it? Can anyone recommend a supplier?

    Regards

    Greg

    Hi Kev,

We have to replace/ repair a couple of existing boards as well as make a few more.

I assume the usual way is to rivet channel on the back and then bolt onto that for the new ones?

Not sure how to secure existing boards to the poles however. They are just cable tied on at the moment which wont last a minute.

Normally they don’t want to pay for the channel so are always looking for cheaper ways of fixing, i’ve used pipe clamps before as below. holds the board tight to poles for strength normally 3 on top row same on bottom, just keep your holes in a nice pattern for tidy look.

    Thanks Kev,

Those clips look the easier option.

    Cheers

Why not print a banner with pole pockets?
