  • How do you use a rivet brush – advice please?

    Hi everyone.
I have a vehicle to wrap that has lots of rivets along the sides, using 3m IJ380 for the job.
To this end, I bought a rivet brush from 3M. It consists of a wooden handle with stiff bristles sticking straight out from the end.
I assumed that the method is to push the brush perpendicularly onto the rivet and twist it.
However, the brush makes holes in the vinyl while it wraps it round the rivet head.

    This can’t be right!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Simon.

I use a http://www.rollepro.com for rivets, the key is to use alot of heat, works very well on cast cut graphics.

    Thanks for the info!
