Is it all the logo or just the Duratec ?
The font can be matched fairly easily, you just need a cap height to get the correct placement.

My advice is get them to get it powder coated i.e in red, they can then get it powder coated in blue then they can wipe off the text with tissue leaving red writing etc.

Doesn’t help with doing it in vinyl but it will be more professional.

Should you want to do this, i would trace it, measure it, find the font and logo etc and size it on the computer hopefully leaving you with an exact copy.

I seem to attract a lot of this type of work, I simply turn it down.

How much are they going to want to pay for you to vinyl the lettering? you could spend an hour finding the right font, only then to find out it’s been bastardised in all directions and kerning, and that’s just one of the fonts, then to apply it perfectly aligned… the typcal £25 budget just isn’t worth the headache, or the returned item when the very hot rocker cover crinkles the vinyl!

I always tell them to mask and paint, powedercoat as mentioned above, or take it to an airbrush artist.

What about a hard screen roller and mask off the outside, done in a few thin coats?
    just a thought

What about using a fine signwriting brush and a small tin of enamel? That’s what I would do.
