    HI ,

Used some 1 way perforated digital vinyl from APS on a couple of large windows , where i put an overlap ( 25mm ) and around edges it has literally peeled back on itself . has anyone had this issue? the model is TSOH175 from APS

    Cheers

    Brent

Sounds like the windows were not cleaned thoroughly before applying the vinyl.
I’ve fitted 1000’s of meters of the stuff and never had an issue.

    Preparation is key :thumbup2:

The windows were cleaned by the customer , then I cleaned over with Avery Cleaner also , they were spotless. thats why its confusing me

It could well be a defective roll of media if the cleaning
Was done properly. Have you any media left over from the job ?
I’m assuming it was applied dry ?

    Hi
the fact that it is only on the overlap could be that it doesn’t like sticking to itself, have seen this on perforated vinyl going on to plastics with plasticisers in etc

    Ink load? Outgassing?

What would be the correct manner to outgas this material?

Ideally laid flat on the bench for 24-48 hours.
