Cutting Random Lines
Just thought I would share this with you all or for those that might be having similar issues.
For months I’ve been having problems with my old Mutoh 650 cutter. Every now and then it would cut random lines right through all my text. I could never work out what was causing the problem. Lately its been getting worse and I decided it was time to scrap the machine.
Then I decided I would try another cutting program to see if that helped. As it didn’t have the proper driver on the program I thought I would try one of Rolands old PNC960 drivers and hey presto the machine started cutting, even though it wasn’t my preferred cutting program, It made me realize it may just be the driver that was causing the problem.
So now I’ve added Rolands driver to my program and its cutting perfectly now.
Its not to say that if I reinstall the old Mutoh driver it wont work again but I’m just happy that the machine is cutting perfectly again.
So if anyone has similar issues with their machine cutting random lines through their job, try reinstalling the driver first, before binning the machine lol.
Or try one of Rolands old Drivers
