  • Flood coating Correx with Screen Print Ink – help please?

Posted by Nick Eccles on 5 October 2015 at 09:22

    Hi All,

I know I’ve read about this before on here but despite spending a while searching can’t find the thread !!

I need to create a number of Correx Boards with Fluorescent coloured backgrounds, I know I could flood coat with vinyl but that wouldn’t be cheap.. I recall reading about rolling the boards with Screen Print inks but can anyone recommend the inks to use or a supplier ?

    Thanks in advance

    Nick.

We’ve done this years ago for a one-off job. I don’t recall exactly what we used (could have been polyplast) but I think you need a primer for polyprop or nothing will stick.

We spoke to Sericol at the time and they were very helpful.
