  • Merson Signs installs Tesco Signage for London Pride 2015

Recently, we manufactured and installed some rather unique Tesco signage for London Pride 2015. Over a single nightshift, one of our crews hit no less than 15 Tesco Express and Metro stores all over London and installed multi-coloured vinyl covers over the Tesco logo’s standard blue chevrons, altering the colours of the Tesco logo to the LGBT rainbow colour scheme.

These were in place for 10 days for the London Pride festivities, before being removed in another single nightshift. In addition to the Tesco store signage we also manufactured banner signage for the lorry used in the parade. The logo alteration was a big hit, and the simple design was so successful it was named as one of the Top 11 Creative Wins by Twitter.

London is just the first of several cities across the UK where Tesco signage will be altered in aid of Pride 2015; next up is Brighton and we will be onsite carrying out identical Tesco installations for Brighton Pride. As one of Merson’s long-term key clients we’re proud to be assisting Tesco in this excellent campaign.
