Anti Vandal Options? Help needed, please?

We have recently revamped an existing sign for a community centre, which runs various services for children etc, so they don’t have a massive budget etc.Their existing entrance sign needed a re-do, so we strip off the old graphics and cleaned up the board and re-fitted a mixture of cut vinyls and digital logos etc.
Problem they have is the local idiots have already starting trying to pull off the vinyls and written over the sign with felt pens etc.
Our client has asked if we could come up with any idea on giving the sign some protection (I did suggest plugging it into the mains….!!!!)
Only thing I can think off is to cover the whole sign with a clear perspex sheet, I know this won’t stop the scribble etc, but stop the graphics being pulled off.
Any thoughts anyone please.

Hexis do an anti graffiti laminate, you apply it over the top of the vinyl and it looks like its been laminated but its a lot more immune to marker pens and paint, I doubt anything is idiot proof enough for the people who would do this but it will let a lot of the normal stuff wipe away.
Im sure there is a couple versions as well for how extreme you need it.

Try Durable Signs, they do a sign that is clear coated some how so can’t pick it and is anti graffiti.

Most important thing here is to make sure the customer is aware that there is no such thing as a vandal proof sign :lol1: :lol1: if they are determined enough they will find a way.
Best option in this case is probably an anti graffiti laminate as Kevin has suggested, if they are on a tight budget a complete new sign is probably out.

Cheap alternative spray with cock pit shine (silicone) does attract some dust but once the kids get it on their hands they stop trying to pick at it. Pens, sprays etc won’t take to silicone infact it ruins the pens
