    Hi,

Does anyone have the post heat temp for Avery MPI1005 EARS? I can only find this:

    http://graphics.averydennison.eu/conten … ies-en.pdf

    and:

    http://graphics.averydennison.eu/conten … 15_ENG.pdf

When post heating is so crucial to application is it not crazy that I can’t quickly find a document giving me the information? (or am I being daft not being able to find it?) I’d really like a link to a document produced by Avery telling me how to use this material, we’ve 3 wraps to do using this material and I don’t want to take any chances!

    Cheers,

    G

Managed to get enough info to feel confident that 90 degrees will be fine for this. Still not happy that this isn’t info that is very easy to find – it’s the first thing to be questioned if there is a failure so why not make the details readily available??

    Good point Gavin.
Post heating Varies from one media to the next. 90 – 120 degrees.
Logic is you can go over, just not under the required temp. Rule of thumb is 100 degrees covers most as i say, you can go over, not under. However, companies like Orafol state 120 as the post heat temp which was reduced from 170 some years ago. they are the only one i know over the 100 degrees, and a fair jump at that.
