  • Cheapest Option to Printer Cutter – advice needed please?

    Hi,

We are just starting off and we are looking to purchase an affordable Printer/Cutter to make decals.

We have seen the Roland BN-20 but after buying a HP Latex printer we really cannot afford to spend thousands on a Printer/Cutter for Decals.

Can anyone give us some makes and models of something cheap that would get us going.

We have seen a Roland PC-60 for around £400-£600 is this any good? Can you recommend any other makes and models in this price range.

    Thanks

    Hi
if you already have a latex printer then buy a cutter with a opus system and rip to run it all. You may have a usable rip for the Latex printer already however any printer or cutter for £400-600 will not be of much use

I already have a Liyu Cutter with optical eye. It is the 54" one.

So how do I go about using that to cut my decals?

Liyu does not have an optical eye( even though advertised as such ), it has a laser pointer.

Using this depends on the software you are using.
