The Better Business Bureau wants you to look out for this latest scam. Scammers are using popular energy drink names like Monster and bigger brands like Coca-Cola. They promise to give you money for driving around with an advertisement of these type of brands on your car from a business that wraps vehicles.

Scammers will send an email telling you that you’ll get $300 a week in cash. All that for just wrapping your car with a logo of one of these businesses. The Sales Manager at Transport Graphics, Ken Walker, says they’ve been in business for 18 years in Springfield. He says they’ve seen scams like this before. “There is all kinds of logistic problems like how is the money gonna come to you for the life of the contract, and those kind of things, we’re more than able to help you clarify all those questions that deal with that but just like any scam deal, you know if it’s to good to be true, it’s probably to good to be true,” says Ken Walker.

Scammers will tell you to get your car wrapped with the advertisement. They’ll then send you a fake cheque asking you to bank transfer money to a third-party. Be suspicious about work-from-home or secret shopper positions. It says if a job doesn’t sound right, search for it online and double or even triple check if you don’t feel that it’s legitimate.
