  • Fitting text to the back of a transit tipper – help please?

    Hey guys

Got a job at the end of the week to fit graphics to the side panels on the back of a transit tipper, easy enough todo I thought but the sides have recesses, my first thought was to fold them in the recess but by doing so the text will be unreadable so I’m guessing the height would need to be stretched, doing this would take a bit of guessing me thinks.

    Any ideas?

Here’s a picture of the beast

Funny you should ask, i saw a SPEDDY HIRE Ford tipper with recesses on the side panel last week. The text was readable even from a angle. I’ll only stretch the the text in proportion. Hope this help. Can you post a picture of the finished vehicle?

    Thanks,

    Hi
i think this would be ok the indents are mild and sloped so won’t distort the look of the text

I’ve done these before, providing text is not too small readability should be fine

Thanks for the input guys, I think I’m going to put a small stretch on the height just to compensate for the recesses.

I’ll post the picture when I’m done.
