  William Smith launch brand their new website

  In our fast-moving industry, it’s important to stay up-to-date with advancing technologies, tools and systems. We are always looking to improve the William Smith experience and, as a result, we are proud to announce the launch of our new website! With more focus on the distribution side of the company, a new website will allow us to feature tools and accessories, special promotions and a dedicated click and order service. The new online ordering feature will be quick and easy, with the design being highly responsive across mobile, tablet and computer platforms – so you can place an order wherever you are, from any device, 24 hours a day. A refreshing change, we hope you’ll agree.

  What’s in Store?

  

  Over the years William Smith has broadened its service offer as the market has grown, with 80% of sales now generated from distribution. The new website has been designed to reflect that demand, with the layout and content supporting the vast material selection we now offer – not just trade manufactured products. Keen to incorporate new technologies that boost the customer experience, we have ensured the site has efficient navigation so that it’s really simple to use and even easier to find what you’re looking for.

  In keeping with our ‘trade only’ ethos and to maintain our high level of service, you will require an account with us to (place an) order, only now you will also be able to order online. Simply log in to your secure area to find your exclusive product discounts and personalised pricing to help you save. Here, you can also view your previous online order history for simple re-ordering of the same products. Best of all, you can track it all from payment to delivery.

  You can search for products in multiple ways, and filter results to show only the films you require, with all discounts and promotional offers automatically displayed. The new layout will be much more visual, with clearly presented products and cutting edge photography and design. And it doesn’t stop there. All material promotions will be available directly on the website at the click of a button.

  New Features

  

  Divided into an easily digestible format and clickable headings, the new design fronts a large mega menu and easy navigation, with a search box that allows you to specify product code, name, description, brand and colour. Every time you search for a product our filtering system will enable you to narrow down the results in terms of application, durability, surface type, finish, adhesive and colour. All products are ordered by relevancy, bestsellers and alphabetically, so finding what you need couldn’t be easier – or quicker! From here, you can view key features and detailed product info.

  The website is exclusively designed for trade account customers only. Your personal online log in area will allow you to view your own prices and reset your password once signed in. You can choose to pay on your credit account or pay by card when ordering. Simply click to order! Your basket is visible at the top of the screen.
